For nearly 70 years, Sam Pollard and Son has provided eastern North Carolina residents with plumbing, heating and air conditioning services. In 2015, the family owned company expanded its services by adding an electrical department.
And now, we introduce a blog! We’ll share news and information, tips and trends that reflect Sam Pollard and Son’s Service, Professionalism and Smiles.
That’s the legacy of brothers Willard and Sam Pollard, who opened the business at 109 E. 12th St. in Greenville in 1948.
Pollard Brothers Plumbing advertised that they were “Plumb Good Plumbers” who did “anything required in plumbing.” The company telephone number was 4251 and they had a “Guarantee to Satisfy.”
“There have been many people who have devoted a lifetime to its success,” owner Walt Pollard said. “I am eternally grateful to my father and his father and all my family and extended family, the employees.
“I am especially thankful to all my customers who called on us through the years. I only hope that we can continue to serve you in an upstanding and sincere manner.”
